MY INTERESTING ROCK
My rock is very exquisite it has angular edges, shiny dots and dashes of cream colour. It feels pointy as I squeeze the rock between the palms of my hand. When I run the water over the rock it changes colour from grey to pink so I’m saying that it turns darker. By the feeling of the rock and how soft it is, I am suggesting that it is from the road or from a river near the clay.
The rock also does not smell like anything so I am also suggesting it’s from somewhere fresh. The rock is also gritty which means that it is pretty mixed up like a bunch of stones cemented together.
Once I have dragged my finger across the rock it feels very rough and uneven.
It feels like I am touching harmless prickles. My rock is very precious and valuable, but the thing I like most about my rock is that it is interesting.

MY ROOM MY CASTLE?
My room is messy and I don’t like anyone to touch my room, I love it the way it is. I have two windows in my room and I have a huge drawer in my room that I don’t use. I hang my clothes in my wardrobe and I have a desk in my room that I use to put my books on. I have a bed with a leopard print blanket that I don’t like to sleep on, I like to sleep on the couch.
If I was to change my room to the ultimate dream room I wouldn’t change a thing because like I said, I love my room the way it is even though it’s messy. I like it the way is.
i have now said what i would and wouldnt like to do to my room.
although my room is a huge sight to see i would like to leave it the way it is, the only thing i would change is the colour of it and change it to the colour yellow because it is my favourite colour and when the sun hits yellow it looks awsome.

SCHOOL RULES?
At St Andrews Middle School we have rules to obey. At school it is law and without rules at school we would not be able to learn and we wouldn’t get an education when we are older. And at school we have steps to follow.
Step 1: if your teacher gives you a verbal warning for not behaving the way you should then your name is put on the board and you have to think of something to modify your behaviour.
Step2: then you have a discussion with your teacher and tell them why you have been misbehaving.
Step3: once you have had a discussion with your teacher and you still haven’t learnt your lesson, then now you must be in the time out area.
I have now told you our school rules and our steps that we must follow once we have misbehaved.

Tuesday 23rd March
We have student, parent and teachers conferences because we have to let our parents know what sort of things we are doing at school and what we are achieving in and what we want to achieve in.
We organise our student, parent and teacher conference by receiving a letter from the teacher and taking it home for our parents to see. Later on once our parents have signed the letter and select what time is suitable for them; we then must take the letter back to our teacher. The student, parents and teachers must meet at school in our classroom. Then the parents will see what we have been doing at school.
Why we have our parents and our teachers meet are because the teacher tells our parents how good the student has been at school and how we have been behaving. The parents go to the student, parent and teacher’s conference because the teacher needs to talk to our parents about what we have been doing and learning at school and the parent needs to know how our behaviour has been at school. We students go because we are the ones that interview our parents and let them know about what we have been doing at school.
It is important to have student, parent and teacher conferences because our parents have to know what type of work we are doing at school and to tell them what level we are in for every subject.

My Self Portrait
My Self Portrait....
I chose blue for my background because it represents my mood, and the mood I was trying to express was calm, peace and water. Calm represents me because I’m always calm. Peace represents me because I like to work and sleep in peace. Water represents me because I love to swim and if I was asked how long I like to swim I would say all the time.
I chose red for the colour of my shirt because it represents energy, attention and anger. Energy represents me because I have a lot of energy. Attention represents me because people with attention get noticed in a huge crowd. Anger represents me because when I’m not calm then I’m angry.
I chose blue, purple, yellow and red for my eyes because all these colours represent me. Like purple represents loyal and loyal represent me because I’m loyal to all my friends. And yellow represents happy, happy represents me because I’m happy and joyful all the time. And red represents me and blue represents me.
